Carry on drinks on embarkation day for Popular Cruise Lines
Published Monday, July 3rd 2023 - Updated Wednesday, August 2nd 2023As of July 3, 2023, here are the guidelines for drinks in cruise lines at check in with carry on luggage. As always it could change at any time based on cruise line decisions.
Costa, MSC and Norwegian do not allow any alcohol to be carried on the ship. Any alcohol found will be confiscated. These particular cruise lines do not allow drinks of any kind to be brought aboard their ships.
Carnival : 1 - 750ml bottle of wine per guest or 1 twelve pack of soda.
Princess: 1- 750ml bottle of wine per guest
Royal Caribbean: 1 - 750ml wine or champagne per guest ; 12 cans of non alcohol drink (soda and water).
Celebrity: 1 - 750ml wine per guest (total 2 per cabin) and a 12 pack of soda in bottles or cans.
Disney: 2 - 750ml of wine per guest
Hollands America: Unstated amount within reason.
Viking: Unlimited
Virgin: 2 - 750ml wine per cabin
Guests must be of legal drinking age to bring alcohol aboard any ship. This list is subject to change without notice. Please check with your cruise provider for the most up to date info.
Most cruise lines will supply distilled water for CPAP machines.
